We here at Blazoncast are very excited to present our first broadcast, “Unsung Hero’s”. We are taking care of the hometeam as this episode is weighing in Bay Area heavy with talent but at the same time we shakin hands and makin friends with folks as close as Texas and Colorado and as far out as New Brunswick and Canada this episode. The most exciting thing to us about this show in particular is that it proves that there is STILL a rush in finding a great new artist that not enough people know about and that music is an invaluable addition to world and while it’s getting increasingly difficult to make money with it, music is and forever will be PRICELESS.
Peep Game.

:: Trk 13 :: (Goodbye) Argentina
Our minds and ears are open and when we hear a perfect piece of pop music mastery we acknowledge and recognize and that’s exactly what happened when we came across Chris, Owen, and Mike of Like Trains and Taxis. Since November 2007, Like Trains & Taxis has evolved into one of the most promising bands on the east coast. Sometimes referred to as “Indie-Soul,” Like Trains & Taxis combines a modern indie sensibility with traditional notions of song writing, aiming to create songs that hold up on their own without relying on gimmicks and superficial fluff. Love it.

:: Trk 14 :: It takes the most
Bay Area, stand up again, it’s Emily McClean, a very prolific artist who is based in the Bay Area by way of the East Coast, who comes from a musical family. A unique soul musician, Emily McLean’s sound is distinct. Fascinated with the versatility of the human voice, Emily uses her vocals as a way to say what’s on her mind, and build a foundation in which her songs can rest. Combining her musical roots and her education in Jazz, Emily’s influences are as diverse and random as she is. She’s CONSTANTLY updating her Soundcloud site so check her out!

:: Trk 15 :: I hope he cheats on you (w/ a Supermodel)
The man Sir Yuro from the Bay tore Marsha Ambrosius song “I hope she cheats on you (w/a B-Ball player) and made it his own (and in our humble opinion, murked her version) with “I hope he cheats on you (w/a Supermodel). His music blends HipHop, Dance, R&B, Alternative and Pop, into a new sound that is hypnotizing to listeners. HIs debut single “Hypnotik” displays his talent as a music producer, songwriter, and performer. He plays and records all instruments, mixes the songs for mastering, distributes, and performs them.
:: Trk 16 :: Blue Magic feat Chapp
Bracy and ID who met through the Bay Area’s BUMP program, a community program run by young artists alongside the administrators to give the opportunity to develop real-world skills through participation in a youth-run record label. Forming a community of artist friends and peers like group LEAGUE 510, Chapp, Young Ivy, and other stars who have come through BUMP, Bracy & ID are now ready to step out from the crowd and into the arena of stardom and musical success.

:: Trk 17 :: When the Weekend Comes
And presenting Sonic Chimera Recordings own exclusive song of the broadcast, “When the Weekend Comes”. Queen Nyoka’s vocals, grooves and production on the album are raw, smooth and at times bass-heavy. The songs are thought provoking and you will want to groove, chill, dance, snap your fingers and bop your head as you feel the beat. Her delicate phrasing sets her apart from the many cookie-cutter artists being released today. Her recording years span over a decade and though many demos have been produced by her in the past this album will be her first debut full release appropriately titled “Renaissance Woman”.
Her mature, emotional, philosophical, sociopolitical writing style is original, genre-busting refreshing and the entire album offers a range of wonderfully produced tracks which also welcomes the outstanding vocals of Andre Jones from the beloved San Francisco band The Latrells, harmonies of Sweet T and smooth vocals of Bluezy.
Queen Nyoka is driven by her desire to create and share music for the people of the World, not just for the money and not at all the fame, it’s pride and self-empowerment that provokes her anthems. Her talent is real, it’s true and you just can’t help but enjoy the experience of listening to her.
